May 27, 2012 Lifecam Studio on Mac My mac detects the Studio with no problem and it works in photobooth and skype but I'm wondering if someone knows of a program to download to play with the picture options as I'm not satisfied with the color out of box.
The LifeCam Studio webcam comes with an automatic focussing feature that searches and focuses on a subject without manual adjustment. However, this feature may be bothersome if the webcam is constantly trying to refocus itself, or is focussing on the wrong subject. As in other LifeCam models, to focus the LifeCam Studio webcam on your Mac, you need to turn off the 'TrueColor' option in the control dashboard to access the 'Properties' button. By clicking this button, you open an advanced control window that allows you to manually focus the webcam on your Mac.
