Suddenly my MOTU 828mkII has stopped working as my default audio device for Windows 10 after Win10 updated itself overnight.Current 828mkII firmware 1.0

I have unistalled MOTU Audio, reinstalled latest driver, MAI_Win_66814.zip, and still receive playback error 'failed to play test tone.' and iTunes no longer plays using MOTU Main Out 1 - 2 as default audio device.Sidenote, SONAR X3 still uses the MOTU ASIO as audio and still functions perfectly, and the MOTU software Audio Console and CueMix FX still function and control the 828mkII just fine.
Any suggestions?
